Customised Farm Management (CFM) is an independent agricultural asset management company, managing a diverse range of properties and operations across Queensland, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory. CFM has been at the forefront of developing skilled people in permanent crop developments, leading the way with projects in citrus, kiwifruit, almond, and pistachios.
Timor Creek is a cattle operation spanning 12,000 hectares across four properties in the Upper Hunter Valley, conveniently located near Scone and Muswellbrook. Our operation includes both commercial and stud Angus cattle, with a total herd size of 2,000 head on fodder crops and improved pastures. This picturesque property offers breathtaking views, making every day rewarding.
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Garden Supervisor to join our team at Timor Creek. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining beautiful grounds and well-kept facilities. The position may also suit a semi-retired couple looking for a peaceful rural lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
- Garden maintenance: mowing, hedging, spraying, weeding, and general upkeep of grounds
- Handyman tasks: pressure washing buildings, painting fences, general building maintenance, and fixing water leaks
- Maintaining a clean and tidy property environment
- Occasional assistance with other property tasks as required
- Maintaining and servicing plant and equipment
What We're Looking For
- Experience in gardening, groundskeeping, or general property maintenance
- Practical handyman skills (basic repairs, painting, pressure washing, etc.)
- Chemical users' certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Friendly, reliable, and community-minded attitude
